Artist Morgan Falls Pike will present an illustrated talk, “Creating the Gloucester Fisherman’s Wife Monument.” Saturday 1 p.m. at the Cape Ann Museum, 27 Pleasant Street, Gloucester. Pike, who created the statue, talks about the design, materials, engineering, casting techniques and community involvement that led to the creation of this iconic waterfront landmark. Tickets, $10. Songwriter Kersey Blanton will perform Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Sharyn Liu Performance Center, 37 Main Street, Lockport. Big Stram, held this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Cut Gloucester, 177 Main Street, will feature guitarists Fry Amero, Cliff Goodwin, platinum recording artist Joe Bouchard, and drummer An all-star band including bassist Mike Levesque and bassist Wolf Ginandez will perform. The Cape Ann Museum will host a public sculpture walk on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The guided 3-mile tour begins in the museum's courtyard at 27 Pleasant St. in Gloucester. This tour is held in conjunction with the current special exhibition, “In the Round: Cape Ann Sculpture of the 20th and 21st Century.” Please bring water.
