Lincolnshire residents are being asked to provide feedback to ensure integrated lifestyle services continue to provide the support they need.
This county-wide service is funded by Lincolnshire County Council and is currently delivered under the brand name One You Lincolnshire.
Integrated lifestyle services are a key preventive service in Lincolnshire's integrated care strategy and are seen as a key part of Lincolnshire's strong return to health after the pandemic.
The service supports people in tackling the main risk factors that affect our health and wellbeing, such as smoking, obesity, lack of physical activity and excessive alcohol use.
“Our integrated lifestyle services are specifically designed to address four risk factors that significantly contribute to disease and health inequalities across the county,” said Executive Councilor for Adult Care and Public Health. Wendy Bowkett said.
“The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has led to further increases in obesity, physical inactivity and alcohol consumption, and this service provides the right support to those who need it. It is considered to have high performance compared to national benchmarks and comparison services.
“Tackling unhealthy behaviors from an early age, and especially in midlife, can help people reap huge benefits now and later in life. We want you to be the best we can be, and it's important that we get your feedback so we can help shape and improve our services going forward.”
The short survey will run until May 19th. Please share your opinion.
