Here are five lifestyle modifications that can help moms age healthily.
Dr. Chitwan Dubey shares, sits together, and makes a weekly meal plan. As we age, our bones become weaker, increasing our risk of developing diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Therefore, it is better to plan weekly meals that are easy to digest and rich in protein, fiber and calcium.
Dr. Chitwan Dubey shares that the second most obvious tenet is to exercise daily to maintain good blood circulation. As we age, our muscles and bones weaken, so strenuous exercise should be avoided. However, activities such as yoga, morning and evening walks, and moving around the house should be encouraged.
“Massages have traditionally been considered the best treatment in India. They're not just great for your mom; they're thought to improve blood flow and help relieve muscle tension.” , it is also considered good for bones and joints,” said Dr. Chitwan Dubey.

Dr. Chitwan Dubey explains that it is essential to know the mother's medical history before making decisions about her diet and exercise. For example, if she has diabetes, you can limit her sugar intake. Similarly, if her cholesterol or blood pressure is excessive, you may want to limit her fat and salt intake.
