How do you use link data within Google Search Console? That's what Google's John Mueller asked earlier this month, and he's got a nice list of uses for link data within Search Console .
I personally don't use it much, but when I was checking Search Console, I noticed a spike in the number of links and they were restricted to certain posts (summary posts). So I guess someone was trying to make fun of me here (if it was you, please comment below).
Here is the post where John asked this:
On that note, I'd like to know how you use Search Console link data. No malicious history. I was browsing a series of sites recently and was wondering what I should tell people to be careful about them. You probably have more experience!

We thoroughly review anything that appears to be spam. In GSC, this is because it is most useful for future proofing. ”

rutledge dogett I have written“If you don't have to spend time disavowing, it may not be the most useful tool. There are so many spam/scraper sites out there.” He shared this screenshot.
Did anyone miss anything?
