Celebrity facialist Tosca Husted, who just pampered Jennifer Lawrence and Kim Kardashian at the Oscars, is preparing to expand her beauty business far from the flashbulbs of Hollywood.
The Kosovo-born, North Carolina-based esthetician is bringing her signature work, “Tosca Glow,” to downtown Dallas, Nashville, and Miami's Coral Gables this summer, and customers will soon be able to enjoy the same skin that the star adored. Experience the rejuvenation (from $295-$895, add-on ranges from $40-$295) Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez (all 2020 Super Bowl skins courtesy of Husted), Queen Rania and Jordan Princess Iman, Billy Porter, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Alexandra Daddario, Elsa Pataky, and Hollywood stylist Jamie Mizrahi.
At her eponymous Toska Spa & Facial Bar in Charlotte (or wherever her clients ask for a jet set), Husted offers personalized, results-driven facials using proprietary lifting, moisturizing, and sculpting techniques. Additionally, we offer custom formulations of masks and serums. Her “go-to” European skincare brands include Switzerland's Valmont and L'Elixir des Glaciers, Germany-based Auteur, Moroccan botanical brand Future, London-born 111Skin, and cult favorite France's Clinical line Biologique Recherche (ambassador to which she belongs).
For example, Husted's own Red Carpet Preparation Facial (starting at $10,000) includes “everything from deep cleansing, manual lifting, a variety of masks, and a custom-selected quintessence serum, to the use of galvanic current to implant products within the skin, and It combines many modalities into one, right down to microcurrent, “to stimulate, tighten, and lift muscles,'' she says. hollywood reporter. “All these elements come together to create a powerful treatment that gives our clients that elusive, photo-perfect glowing skin.”
The result is a dewy, natural lift for a contoured, firmed, nourished and radiant face ready for award season, the Met Gala or the Royal Wedding. (Husted was responsible for Princess Iman's bridal glow.)
“The first time I really thought, 'This time I really made it,' was with Jennifer Aniston,” Husted, 52, says. “She asked me to go see her while she was filming in Atlanta. It was a fun experience and when she told me my facial was 'next level,' I was very happy.”
Husted moved to London from her native Bosnia more than 23 years ago, where she obtained her cosmetology license from the International Federation of Aesthetic Therapy and Cosmetology. She opened her first spa in Charlotte's Dilworth neighborhood in 2016 and relocated to her tony South Park enclave a few years ago. Dallas-based Surge Private Equity acquired Husted's company last year and will partner with the celebrity esthetician to open new skin care locations in three Hollywood-loved Southern destinations.
Charlotte Studio also offers quick 30-minute facials (starting at $129), body treatments (starting at $295), Biologique Recherche's micropuncture technique (a minimally invasive technique similar to microneedling), waxing, and eyebrow and eyelash services doing. You can expect the same menu at the three Kanojo Kanojo restaurants that will open in the future. Miami is scheduled to debut in May, while Dallas and Nashville are scheduled to debut later this year.
“Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work in something related to aesthetics,” Husted adds. “Feeling comfortable in my own skin and the confidence that comes with it is important to me, but I know it's just as important to many other women and men.” After moving to the United States from London, I was inspired by the lack of results-oriented spas. There was a huge gap between medical spas and more comfortable spas. However, I wanted to create something with a personal and holistic approach that would allow my clients to go to sleep comfortably and wake up with beautiful, healthy skin.”
Husted said after wrapping up a busy awards season. THR Here's what skincare enthusiasts should keep in mind before layering products, and her at-home routine for those who can't hop on a plane to the skincare mecca of the South. (Otherwise, you'll have to catch her the next time she comes to Los Angeles.)

Not all popular skin care ingredients are suitable for everyone. What do you want people to keep in mind before they start using vitamin C, retinol, hyaluronic acid, and other products?
Always consult a professional before starting a new product. Ingredients that work like magic for one person can spell disaster for another, and listening to an expert can take the guesswork and pain out of keeping your skin balanced.
There's no substitute for getting a facial IRL. So how can clients who can’t necessarily go to a spa receive a version of your treatment at home?
We offer a variety of 30-minute mini treatments, perfect for those who don't have time but still want to get a full facial. For home care, the products you use will vary depending on your skin, but typically include cleansers, toners, masks, serums, and creams twice a day, and sunscreen throughout the day. We recommend that you do so. The biggest thing you can do with your home routine is to be consistent.
