Avoca Main Street Inc. is encouraging diners and shoppers to bring some spring vibrancy to downtown businesses with its second Main Street event, “Meat and Mingle,” on May 4th. . The district-wide promotion will feature shopping, food and beverage specials. Main Street will feature a special pop-up shop, previews of new businesses and two ribbon cuttings.

A ribbon cutting welcoming OBOS (or Best Offer Store) will take place at 11 a.m. at 131 N Elm Street. This innovative retailer offers gently used items, antiques, collectibles and more, along with a constantly changing inventory of treasures.
