Air India, India's leading global airline with the country's largest international network and the most direct flights connecting India to destinations around the world, has selected Thales' AVANT Up in-flight entertainment (IFE) solution . Thales will continue to upgrade and refurbish Air India's 40 current Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft with its state-of-the-art AVANT Up system from 2024 to 2025. In addition, Thales will install AVANT Up IFE on 11 of Air India's new Airbuses. Thales' AVANT Up features an Optiq, 4K QLED HDR display designed to provide the best viewing experience in the air with unparalleled picture quality. Optiq features in-screen USB-A and USB-C fast charging ports, and is the only display with two Bluetooth connections and built-in Wi-Fi. Optiq allows passengers to charge their phones and laptops while pairing wireless headphones and other devices to the display, so they arrive at their destination charged and relaxed.
