Take-Two Interactive said at its financial results conference that GTA 5, the latest installment in the Grand Theft Auto series released in 2013, has sold more than 200 million copies to date.

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, makers of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) video game series, has revealed details regarding the release date of GTA 6. According to a report from The Verge, Take-Two said during its quarterly earnings call that we can expect the next installment in the GTA video game series “in the fall of 2025.”
“Our outlook reflects Rockstar Games’ previously set narrowing of the 2025 calendar period for Grand Theft Auto VI to fall 2025. “We are very confident that it will deliver an entertaining experience, and expectations for the commercial impact of this title continue to rise,” the company said, as reported by The Verge.

GTA6: Details
The next installment in the Grand Theft Auto video game series will be set in Vice City, a fictional version of Miami similar to the one used in the 2002 video game GTA: Vice City. The video game will likely revolve around the story of Lucia, the series' first female protagonist. However, there are multiple reports that the video game will feature multiple playable characters apart from the female protagonist.
