abusive language There are endless “buy one get one free” ads that so many companies use to sell their products. They are kicking it out of the park and I will make every effort not to patronize those businesses. Certainly, there are some creative people left who can do better.
rave To the two people who helped me when I collapsed in front of my apartment. After a long day of walking, my legs gave out and I couldn't stand up to pick up something I had dropped. They lifted me to a standing position and allowed me into the building. They were so great and I would like to thank them again.
abusive language During the Capitol Hill Farmers Market every Sunday, people park on the east side of the street between Denny and John's on 10th Street East despite a “No Parking” sign. Illegally parked cars block the passage of fire trucks, ambulances, access vans, and delivery trucks.
rave Even deodorant and lip balm in compostable cardboard tubes rather than non-recyclable plastic tubes. Toothpaste tablets in glass bottles instead of non-recyclable toothpaste tubes are also highly praised!
abusive language Going to a baseball game in April. It's below freezing at T-Mobile Park and it's 33 degrees and snowing at Coors Field in Denver. I wish the baseball season was two weeks shorter, but I know that will never happen.
rave Thank you to Mother Nature for putting on a spectacular tulip show this year and to the people behind the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival for their hard work and organizational skills to successfully complete the month-long event up north. To do.
abusive language It causes traffic behind you to back up for people waiting for a stoplight more than two car lengths in front of you in the right turn lane.
rave Our indoor Christmas poinsettia is currently 5 months old. It is healthy and still has all its red flowers and leaves. It came as a pack of his 3 pieces, but his remaining 2 pieces broke long ago. Maybe it will last until next Christmas!
abuse and praise We pay tribute to our frontline pharmacy workers who have been working under stressful and understaffed conditions even before the pandemic. They get mad at pharmacists when they take their lunch break, they blame them for drug shortages everywhere, they yell at customers who get mad at pharmacies when their medications aren't covered by insurance or their doctor sends them the wrong prescription. These pharmacy workers deserve praise, not ridicule.
rave To the thoughtful person who noticed I had accidentally dropped my favorite sun hat and hid it in plain sight. You made my day when I retraced my steps and found it. Thank you so much for brightening my day!
rave It's only for buses, so go to Third Avenue. This will make being a pedestrian much less anxious.
