He said of the song, “The inspiration for 'Run' came from seeing my friends back home who never left their hometown and never threw themselves into the unknown for fear of failure.” .
“I relate to this because there have been many times in my own life and career where fear has stopped me from pursuing my dreams.”
Wynn previously talked about how appearing on America's Got Talent in 2022 helped pull him out of a “dark place.”
He told WSMV4: “I lost my twin brother at the end of 2020, and I was in a pretty dark place. After that, I was just trying to figure out what to do with myself and what music meant to me. Because not having my twin brother here was a huge blow to me.”
The singer hopes to inspire other artists with her own journey of overcoming adversity.
He said: “Let's embrace all of you and learn to love.” Sometimes when I start to be hard on myself, I remind myself to just be kind and be who I am. ”
