WASHINGTON, April 5, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Verizon Business has partnered with NASA to provide network solutions that will enable live broadcasts of the April 8 solar eclipse. Verizon Business provisioned 1GB E with significant support from Leidos. -Route service from Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland to John Glenn Space Center. This provisioning effort was completed in less than 30 days. This is important. This allowed NASA to thoroughly test video and broadcast applications in advance of the eclipse.

This connection will allow NASA to ingest multiple video feeds from across the United States, including telescope views and broadcast commentary, and combine them to deliver broadcasts to NASA viewers around the world.
