Nashville-based Dani Stacey, 31, was the first singer of the night, singing “I Know I Will Survive.” Everyone turned their chairs, but Reba McIntyre was stopped. Frustrated, she said to Stacey, Hear the range of your voice. ” John Legend said that not everyone who sings soul has soul and asked her to come on Team Legend. Dan and Shay suggested her R&B beginnings, and Stacey mentioned influences from Destiny's Child, but it was Chance the Rapper that she chose to coach. She said she chose him because he has “values as an artist and is innovative.”

Next up were 17-year-old brothers Justin and Jeremy Garcia from California. The two performed a duet on the story. Chance gave advice about their pitch and John said the pitch could have been tighter, which is why he didn't turn around. However, Dan and Shay and Reba offered both to the team, but the brothers ultimately chose Dan and Shay, who perfectly matched the duo's style.
As Nadège, 26, sang her own song “Get You,” John and Chance quickly turned around, followed by Reba. The artist, who hails from Wellington, Florida and currently resides in Cali, credits Legend as one of her musical inspirations, with Odiay People being the first song she ever performed in front of an audience, and that Legend is an up-and-comer. He said that it gave him the opportunity to do a short duet. Her mother looked on in disbelief. Later, Chance wanted to add Nadège to the team, and she duetted the same song with her. Dan and Shay ask Reba to undo his tie, but she looks at Chance and asks, “What should I do?” “It was almost embarrassing,” and Chance almost spits water. However, she ultimately chose Chance as her coach, much to Legend's dismay.
The final act of the night was Kenna (22), Sierra (23), and Courtney (25), also known as OK3, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The trio of singers “laugh and act like sisters,” the vignette says. The three met through a vocal coach and have been best friends since they were teenagers, participating in competitions, and have remained by each other's side through good times and bad. They broke up in 2017 and did not get back together for four years. They saw Sorrell break out on the show last year and want to reunite for the voice and work with Dan and Shay.
During their performance of Made You Look, they rotated their chairs three times after the first few notes, including Dan and Shay. Before the song ended, everyone swiveled in their chairs and engrossed themselves in the performance. A group of vocal coaches were invited on stage by the judges to help decide the group, but we'll have to wait until tomorrow night to find out who was chosen.
