STEVENS POINT – More acts have been announced for this summer’s 40th annual Riverfront Rendezvous Community Festival.
Riverfront Rendezvous will be held July 4-6 at Pfiffner Pioneer Park. The festival has three stages of entertainment and offers free activities for families with no tickets or admission fees. No animals or fireworks are allowed inside the park during the festival.
Headlining acts were announced in January, but the Stevens Point Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department announced the full lineup on Thursday.
Thursday, July 4th
- Big Oil will perform at the Pfiffner Building on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Big Oil is his five-piece rock band based in Appleton.
- The Rhythm Playboys will perform Thursday at the Pfiffner Building from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Rhythm Playboys is a polka band from Osseo.
- The Barefoot Americans will perform on the Anniversary Stage Thursday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The Barefoot Americans are a jam rock band from the Fox Valley area.
- Wheelhouse will perform on the Anniversary Stage Thursday from 6pm to 10pm. Wheelhouse is an Americana and bluegrass band from Madison.
- Miss Myra and the Moonshiners will perform on the main stage Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. Miss Myra and the Moonshiners is a jazz and swing band from Minneapolis.
- Copper Box will perform on the main stage Thursday from 7pm to 8:15pm. Copper Box is his Oshkosh-based Americana band.
- The Spin Doctor will perform on the main stage Thursday from 9pm to 10:30pm. Spin His Doctors is a rock band from New York City best known for their hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can't Be Wrong.” Thursday's headliner is Spin Doctors.
There will also be a Carp Classic Fishing Contest sponsored by Fall Line Outfitters on Thursday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. A doubles horseshoe tournament will also be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, July 5th
- River Cities Jazz will perform at the Pfiffner Building on Fridays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. River Cities Jazz is his 18-piece jazz band from central Wisconsin.
- Boogie & the Yoyos will perform on the Anniversary Stage on Friday from 6pm to 10pm. Boogie & the Yoyos is a rock band from the Fox Valley area.
- Nonserio will perform on the main stage Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Non Serio is a Polish choir.
- Pat McCurdy will perform on the main stage Friday from 7pm to 8:15pm. Pat McCurdy is a singer and musician from Milwaukee.
- Horseshoes and Hand Grenades will perform on the main stage Friday from 9pm to 10:30pm. Horseshoes and Hand Grenades is a bluegrass band from Stevens Point. Horseshoes and Hand Grenades will headline Friday.
Saturday, July 6th
- “Subject to Change” will perform at the Pfiffner Building on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Subject to Change is an improv comedy show in Stevens Point.
- John Dietz and the Twin Lakes Trio will perform at the Pfiffner Building on Saturday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. John Dietz and the Twin Lakes Trio are a polka band from Minnesota.
- Boo Bradley will perform on the Anniversary Stage Saturday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Boo Bradley is a “swamp rock” band from Madison.
- Rebel Grace will perform on the Anniversary Stage on Saturday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Rebel Grace is a country band from Wisconsin.
- Adrian and Meredith will perform on the main stage Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Adrian & Meredith is an Americana band from Nashville.
- Gin, Chocolate and Bottle Rocket will perform on the Anniversary Stage on Saturday from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. Gin, Chocolate and Bottle Rockets is a country rock band from Madison.
- Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band will perform on the main stage Saturday from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is a country blues band from Indiana. Saturday's headliner will be Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band.
The singles horseshoe tournament will be held Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cornhole tournament also begins Saturday at noon. Registration for the cornhole tournament begins at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Fireworks are also planned along the Wisconsin River at dusk Saturday.
