Seabury Hall's choral ensemble will take popular music lovers on a “journey through the timeless songs of the past” during its April 20 performance of “Radio Rewind Live: Pops Choral Concert.” The event begins at 7pm at the Aaliikhonua Creative Arts Center at Makawao Private School.
The Radio Rewind concert, directed by Molly Shadd, promises “a night of nostalgia, entertainment and pure musical brilliance,” according to a statement.
The ensemble performs the biggest hits from across the decades, from the iconic sounds of the 1960s to contemporary chart-toppers. “Whether you’re a fan of classic melodies or modern anthems, Radio Rewind Live promises something for everyone,” the event announcement reads.
“The Seabury Hall Choir performed a spring pops concert last year, and after that we realized we were starting a new tradition,” Shad said. “Students appreciate the opportunity to help choose the music, choreograph the songs, and add their own style to their favorite songs.”
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $7 for students, and children under 4 are free. For reservations and more information, visit www.seaburyhall.org/arts.
