The Soper Rees Theater will host the popular Pianist Benefit Concert on Sunday, March 3rd. The performance will feature her six professional pianists who will combine a variety of musical styles to raise money for the theater's renovation fund and Lake County Friends of Mendocino College's scholarship program.
The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. with a non-hosted reception and the concert begins at 3 p.m.

Performers from Lake and Mendocino counties include Spencer Brewer, Elena Casanova, Tom Ganun, Elizabeth McDougall, Bernie McClure, Ed Rinehart and more. At the concert, all pianists will be on stage throughout the performance, discussing their life experiences and performing a variety of music, from classical to jazz, boogie woogie to Cuban, originals to popular songs.
Jennifer Strong of Strong Financial Network, a Lakeport-based financial planning firm, will serve as host and queen of the ceremony.

Additional sponsorships to participate in this program will be accepted through February 21st for six tickets for $500, four for $300, and two for $100, all with premium reserved seating.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Soper Reese Theater Renovation Fund for continued efforts to modernize and expand the facility, as well as the Lake County Friends of Mendocino College Annual Scholarship Fund. The fund also supports summer productions of Shakespeare at the theater. Clear Lake and Lakeport Lakes.
Soper Reese Theater is located at 275 S. Main Street in Lakeport. CDs autographed by the artists will be on sale during reception and break times.
