Oprah Winfrey wants 'real therapy' from Gayle King.
The 70-year-old TV star has been friends with Gayle, 69, for decades, and Oprah often turned to her showbiz friends for help and support rather than a professional therapist.
Oprah told PEOPLE, “I never went to a therapist because I was on the show so much, but my real therapy came from downloading Gail and the day's events every night.'' It was,” he said.
Oprah and Gail supported each other throughout their early careers.
The television star said, “There wasn't a day that went by that we didn't miss talking on the phone about things that happened in our time.”
Oprah is now very grateful for Gail's support.
She said: “I had the greatest friendship anyone could have, and that's only possible when someone cares about your successes, sorrows, and triumphs as much as you do.”
Meanwhile, Oprah previously revealed that she wants to “help other people rise up.”
The veteran star has already achieved great things in his career and is now keen to support others.
Oprah, who hosted her eponymous talk show for 25 seasons, told PEOPLE: About how I operate in the world…life is better when you share it. ”
Oprah has already helped change the lives of many people. But she remains as determined and ambitious as ever.
The billionaire said: “I now know what Maya Angelou said to me when I came back from opening a school in South Africa: 'Oh, Maya, this school is going to be my greatest legacy, these girls.' That's what I thought.'' And she said, “You never know what your legacy will be…because your legacy is never one thing. Your legacy is all the lives you touch.”
