Deborah A. Theo, 54, passed away surrounded by her loving family after a battle at Newark Beth Israel Hospital due to complications from rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Born July 10, 1969 in Newton, Deb graduated from High Point Regional High School in 1987 and earned an associate's degree from Orange County Community College in 1989. A local hospital in northern New Jersey. She worked hard and built a career at Roche Diagnostics, where she is currently employed as a senior IT customer consultant.
Deb was an active member of the Frankford Township Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and volunteered many hours of service to the community. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Deb she knows how to have a good time and she enjoyed every moment of her time with us.
Deb's RA was diagnosed over 15 years ago and unknowingly progressed to RA interstitial lung disease (ILD). She was battling pneumonia, COVID-19, and CMV, all of which were devastating complications. Deb wanted everyone to know about the devastating effects RA has not only on her joints, but also on her organs, especially her lungs. We didn't know this right away, but now we are her voice and we encourage everyone who is being treated for rheumatoid arthritis to get tested regularly for rheumatoid arthritis disease. We urge you to consult your doctor regarding this matter.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents, John A. Rose and Evelyn N. Rose; She is survived by her beloved husband Michael Theo of Branchville, New Jersey, her sons who were always proud of her and who served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and her partner Bradley M. Theo of Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by Shania, of San Diego, and Kyle T. Theo of San Diego. California. Deb is also survived by her devoted sister Diana L. Olano (Rose) and her husband James of Sparta, NJ; Deb was cherished by her many other family members and her dear friends.
Deb's memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wood Funeral Home 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ 07826 with a memorial service to follow at 3:30 PM.
