Construction on Iron Tee Golf is nearly complete. It's a new 65,000 square foot entertainment facility located near his TBK Bank Sports Complex in Bettendorf.
“It's steaming right off the bat. These guys are on target. They're working hard and doing a great job building this Iron Tee facility,” said Kevin Belk, general manager of Iron Tee Golf. I did.
This golf complex features a practice range with ball tracking technology, giving golfers the chance to perfect their swing and see how far they can hit the ball. This golf venue also has 58 golf bays that can accommodate 6 golfers in each bay, allowing hundreds of golfers to participate at any given time. Away from the driving range, Iron Tee Golf also offers arcade games, mini-golf, multiple bars and televisions, and a restaurant.
“It's really going to be an experience in terms of entertainment, but it's really where hospitality and entertainment meet. So we're excited to bring this to the Quad-Cities,” Berg said.
While showing off the venue, Berg said Iron Tee Golf is available year-round. You can start swinging regardless of the weather. Berg says that's one of his big draws.
“You can come here and enjoy your swing any time of the year,” Berg said. “These golf bays are heated with three radiant heaters per golf bay. We are really pleased to be able to provide this solution for entertainment in the Quad Cities. We feel it’s going to be the pinnacle.”
Iron Tee will also partner with First Tee Golf. First Tee works with children to help them learn about golf. Belk said he hopes to have a grand opening in May.
