Decorating your home doesn't have to cost a fortune. One woman proved it.
A DIY enthusiast, he created tasteful furniture using items from Dollar Tree and Walmart.
The TikToker, known as Budget Friendly Creations (@budgetfriendscreations), showed off her homemade hacks in her videos.
She taught her followers how to upgrade their home decor at an affordable price.
The DIY pro took the first step by applying glue to the edges of two gray bowls she bought for 50 cents each from Walmart.
Once the bowl was firmly attached, she peeled off the label and took out the glue again.
This time I used adhesive for the patterned glass base from Dollar Tree.
Next, she placed a glass on top of one of the bowls and let it sit until the glue set.
I then used a can of spray paint from Dollar Tree to cover both the bowl and glass with a layer of white.
Once the paint was dry, I used ribbon, also from Dollar Tree, to complete the look.
She placed one of the metallic silver ribbons around the top of the glass.
The other ribbon was wrapped around the two attached bowls and covered the glued edges.
As a finishing touch, she added blue feathers to the inside of the DIY vase.
She then placed the item on a shelf alongside the glass and mirror ornaments.
Her followers praised the DIY vase in the comments section.
