As kids enter Spring Break, Maple Ridge Museum and Pitt Meadows Museum are offering a variety of family-friendly events to keep kids entertained during the two-week break.
At Pitt Meadows Museum, kids can embrace their creative side and bring some handmade items to life using the museum's special Spring Break craft kits.
Starting Sunday, March 17th, these kits will be available for pickup during museum hours in exchange for a $5 donation.
Inside you'll find everything you need to make a variety of crafts, including 2 friendship bracelets, paper animals, a beaded lizard, and a drawstring backpack and its decorations.

The museum notes that the tag on each craft kit indicates the color of the backpack inside the kit, so it's important to check the tag to ensure children get the color they want. He advised parents and children to be careful.
Next week, Maple Ridge Museum will have its own spring break entertainment, running from March 21-24.
During this time, there will be take-home crafts and activities, lawn games, scavenger hunts and more.
The museum also encourages you to take your time to view the exhibits and exhibits within the museum, which are open as usual.
