Loyola Marymount University has introduced a new master's degree program to its fall 2024 lineup, the Master of Arts in Entertainment Leadership and Management (MELM).
The program is a collaboration between the LMU School of Film and Television (SFTV) and the LMU College of Business Administration (CBA) and provides an in-depth look at how work is created and the economic and cultural forces that influence every film. Mentored by industry leaders including SFTV Presidential Fellow and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Janet Yang, MELM is designed to shape the careers of new and future entertainment executives, agents, managers, producers, artists, content creators, and studio executives. LMU MELM is designed to help students develop a combination of creative skills, business fundamentals, and customizable electives. This program can be completed in 12 months if full-time or 24 months if part-time.
