Indie-pop titans Los Campesinos! today unveiled a new track from their upcoming seventh album, All Hell (out July 19th on their own label, Heart Swells), with the catchy, pop-punk-infused new track “0898 HEARTACHE.”
'All Hell' will be the band's first full-length album since 2017's 'Sick Scenes', and has already been teased by previous singles 'Feast Of Tongues' and 'A Psychic Wound'. Speaking to DIY's June 2024 issue (which you can buy the print version or read the digital version here ), Los Camps frontman Gareth David spoke about the overwhelmingly warm reception they've received since announcing their return, and how they're embracing new influences in this new chapter.
“Every time I take on a new project, I always wonder if I've overdone it. But when I see the kindness I get back from the audience… I think, 'Oh, maybe I can keep going.'” […] As you get older, you start restricting your tastes less and enjoying what you like. Jason, our drummer, is the biggest Blink-182 fan. We all like traditional Midwestern emo, but we also like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, etc.”
Listen to “0898 HEARTACHE” and find out where the band will be heading next on their tour (the North American tour starts this week!).
