Kylie Minogue promised 'Padam Plus' at the BRIT Awards.
The 55-year-old singer, who won Global Icon at the 2024 awards and is nominated in the International Artist category, will close out her show on Saturday (February 24-March) at London's O2 Arena with a seven-minute medley. It's planned.
Kylie refused to reveal many details about her performance, but told Sky News on the red carpet: “Plus, it just reminds people of the journey. That makes sense in my head. Let's see how it goes tonight!”
Kylie's 2023 song “Padam Padam” was a major critical and commercial success for Kylie, who admitted that she knew she wanted it the moment she heard it.
She said, “When I heard 'Padam' as a demo, I had the same reaction I had when I heard 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head.' When will I get my hands on it? It's a great song and , that's how I felt.'' That was my track, so the harmonies helped drive it. And we became Padam Red, and now we are Padam Red forever. ”
Kylie, who said she was still in shock at winning the Global Icon award, admitted she was “thrilled” to be recognized by the British National Party after many ups and downs in her career.
She said: “It's been 36 years since my first single when I was 19, so I think I need to go somewhere for quite some time and think about it. In fact, I've been doing everything the other way around. I had a single, “Loco.'''' “Motion'' was number one for weeks, but then I had to learn what I was doing. Although this was a career, it was a lifetime of just learning techniques step by step.
“This is an accomplishment that I'm really proud of, the good, the bad and everything in between. It hasn't always been fun, let's accept that.
“It was difficult to reverse the '90s, but we got through it. There's a lot to think about, but all I can do is… bring it into a bubble of emotion. .I'm very grateful, I'm very grateful.''
