The Jeffrey Archer Company and Dream Bay Entertainment have entered into a strategic partnership to bring the best-selling author's works to television and film internationally, with a focus on India, Asia and the Middle East markets.
DBE was founded in 2023 by former Amazon Studios executive Thomas Drachkovitch. Former CAA agent Jason Hafford recently joined as co-founder and head of DBE Management.
Archer's works have been published in 114 countries and more than 47 languages, with 275 million copies sold worldwide. As revealed by variety, “Sex Education'' producer Eleven and Sony Television International are adapting Archer's best-selling “Cain and Abel'' trilogy into a television drama. Archer is also known for the Clifton Chronicles series and the William Warwick series.
Archer is a frequent visitor to India, where his books are huge bestsellers and his lectures and readings are usually overbooked.
The titles that will be adapted under this partnership have not yet been revealed.
