Gisele Bündchen refuses to publicly discuss her “private” romance with Joaquin Valente.
The 43-year-old supermodel, who shares children Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with ex-husband Tom Brady, 46, a retired NFL star, revealed in February that they shared a kiss. It was confirmed that she was dating Tom Brady, a martial arts instructor, in a Miami neighborhood on Valentine's Day.
But in an interview with Robin Roberts on Hulu's 30-minute special,
On the show, titled “IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain,” the host said the model did not want to comment directly on dating rumors because she “wants to keep her personal life private.”
But when the 63-year-old Good Morning America host asked Gisele if she would ever open up to someone again, Gisele smiled and said: It's for my family, but yeah, why not? ”
Gisele added: “Life is full of surprises. I don't have a crystal ball to tell me what will happen tomorrow, but it is.”
The mother-of-two previously denied rumors that she and the trainer were more than friends.
She told Vanity Fair in March 2023 about Joaquin: “He's our teacher and most importantly, someone I respect and trust. He has that kind of energy and to be able to give that kind of energy to the kids is so great. That’s a good thing.”
A source told People that Gisele and Joaquin started dating in June 2023, eight months after her and Tom's divorce was finalized.
A source told the Daily Mail that Tom – who also has a 16-year-old son, Jack, with ex-actress Bridget Moynahan, 52 – had no problems with Joaquin and had three children together. He said he would try to maintain a friendly relationship for the sake of both parties.
