◼️Tuesday 7:30 p.m. — Concert: “This Land Things, Inspired by the Life and Times of Woody Guthrie,” featuring Daugherty's 2016 song cycle for two singers and chamber ensemble, Wind Gate Center for Fine and Performing Arts Concert Hall, 2150 Donaghy Avenue Bruce Street.
◼️Wednesday 7:30pm — Wind Ensemble Concert, Concert Hall, Wind Gate Center.
Admission to all three venues is free.
Daugherty has won six Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary Classical Composition in 2011 for “Deus Ex Machina” for piano and orchestra and in 2017 for “The Hemingway Story” for cello and orchestra. Award-winning.

Two jazz concerts will be held this week at the Walton Arts Center, 495 W. Dickson St., in Fayetteville.
◼️George Hinchcliffe british ukulele orchestra It plays Friday at 8 p.m. The seven-member ensemble's musical and comedic programming ranges from ABBA to ZZ Top, Tchaikovsky to Nirvana and Lady Gaga, and occasionally includes material from his Western music. This is part of his 10×10 Arts series at the Center. Tickets are $10.
◼️ aubrey logan band Performs Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A singer-songwriter and trombonist, Logan leads the ensemble in a combination of jazz, funk, love songs, calypso-infused rhythms, and traditional fusion. Tickets are $33 for theater seats and $53 for cabaret seats.
