Robert explained that John recently gave her a Reggie Jill doll, a 1970s Hasbro doll known for its excessively long legs, to add to her vintage doll collection.
“I bought her for her birthday,” she said. “I was looking for Reggie Jill for over a year and then her boyfriend surprised me with her.”
However, to John's chagrin, Roberts chose to take Reggie Jill out of the box, adding, “If you're going to collect dolls, I think you might as well enjoy them.”
And Roberts, who has 3-year-old son Rose with ex Garrett, thoroughly enjoys her dolls. “I'm crazy about them,” she told AD, “in love with them.”
And the dollhouse vibe is exactly what she wanted for her home.
“What I love about this house is that it's like an adult dollhouse,” she continued. “It's very story-like. And when we moved, it was just me and my son there. So I just said, 'This is our style, this is our memory and We want our home to be filled with love.'
“Minimalism isn't for me,” she joked. “Every house I've ever lived in has felt like a little cabinet of curiosities.”
