The new sensors can be installed, activated, and connected via WiFi in minutes and join Xfinity's extensive line of home monitoring products, including indoor and outdoor cameras, video doorbells, and smart thermostats.
Xfinity's new sensor gives customers the ability to customize their experience through the Xfinity app. There, you can add and pair as many sensors as you want, turn monitoring on or off, and set rules for real-time alerts when doors and windows open or open. If motion is detected. Motion sensors can detect the difference between people and pets, so animals don't give out false alarms. These complement Xfinity's Self Protection products, which allow customers to leverage sensors, cameras and other smart home technology to monitor and secure their homes wherever they are for just $10 per month.
