David Beckham has marked his wife Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday by saying their children are her “biggest success”.
The Spice Girls star celebrated the milestone on Wednesday (April 24, 17), with her husband proud of all her accomplishments in a special photo and video montage of key moments in her life. It included a poignant message telling her to do whatever she wants.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: “Happy birthday to my beautiful wife… On this birthday, I look back and am proud of what I have accomplished, accomplished, and built. You should, businesswoman and Posh Spice.''Of course she married the England captain.
“But your greatest successes are your children. You guide them, you love them, you teach them… They love you beyond words, and we all love you so much.” Have the special day you deserve.”
David went on to joke, “I'm 50 and healthy. I'm honest.”
The couple have four children: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12.
David's tribute to his wife comes after Victoria reflected on the milestone herself on social media.
Victoria, who rose to stardom in the 1990s as a member of the Spice Girls, wrote on Instagram: “As I approach 50 (in heels of course!), I can't believe I've reached this milestone. I feel happy. I feel blessed.” I have a sense of accomplishment and deep satisfaction not only in my position as a woman, but also in how far my fashion and beauty brand has come.
“My ambition has always been to empower women and make them feel like their best selves. For me, that meant trusting my instincts and never compromising my creative vision.” .”
Victoria added that she was proud of how she was able to balance her career with her responsibilities as a mother. The fashion designer also thanked her family for their support.
She wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “I believe you can be many things: a pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer… My passion is always to dream big and then dream even bigger ! Believe in yourself first” – everyone else will follow.
“And if you're really lucky, you'll meet someone who believes in you even more than you do. @DavidBeckham, forever grateful for your unconditional love and support, and our beautiful children.” …you complete me.
“I am so proud and in awe of the kind, hard-working, talented people you are all becoming. So here I am, with the people I love, sharing my I want to do more of what I love.”
“I'm so grateful to my family, friends, and amazing team! This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter and I'm just getting started.” Mom and Dad, I love you. Kiss Victoria xx (sic).”
