If your jewelry always ends up in tangled knots, this trick might be for you.
A Dollar Tree shopper taught her followers how to make a budget-friendly ring holder.
Marilyn (@mmarilyn__442) walked viewers through each step of the DIY trick in her video.
The TikToker described her process as a “Dollar Tree hack you should try.”
For her project, she purchased a $1.25 gold picture frame and a $1.25 roll of purple felt.
First, Marilyn removed the back part from the frame and made the front pop out.
I then cut out the felt fabric and rolled each piece so it was the same width as the picture frame.
She rolled each piece of felt cut and then secured it with a tube of glue.
Marilyn took just the frame and applied a thin layer of glue around the inside rim.
Next, she placed each roll of felt horizontally over the picture frame.
Marilyn stacked the rolls tightly and replaced the back of the frame.
Next, she propped up the picture frame and began placing rings in the spaces between the felt rolls.
The ring was held in place, clearly visible, and easily accessible within the frame.
“I love how it turned out!” Marilyn wrote in the video's caption.
Her followers shared their thoughts on the hack in the comments section.
“Friends door vibe,” one viewer wrote, referring to the iconic gold frame around Monica's apartment's purple door in the show.
Another impressed TikTok user said: “Wow, I was wondering where you were going with this.”
“This is really great. It doesn't take much time, money, or supplies, and there are so many variations possible. Thanks, I'll try it!” a third person commented.
