exclusive: Alloy Entertainment has promoted Elisa Koplowitz-Dutton to vice president of theatrical film production, the company's president and chief creative officer Leslie Morgenstein announced Monday.
Alloy, a leader in the creation and production of youth content in books, television and film, has been part of Warner Bros. Television Studios since its acquisition by WarnerMedia in 2012. Mr. Dutton most recently served as head of the company's motion picture division and currently serves as head of the motion picture division. He worked there for over 10 years. Her children's holiday book will be published by Penguin/Random House this fall. “In the 10 years that Elisa has directed films for Alloy Entertainment, our film business has grown significantly,” Morgenstein told Deadline. “She has a great vision and brings our intellectual property library and original projects to life with the help of great writers and filmmakers.”
Dutton added, “I'm very excited to continue expanding Alloy's reach with the incredibly talented filmmaker Les Morgenstein and the creative team in New York.”
Before Alloy, Dutton produced the classic comedy Mike Judge. stupiditycontinues to be performed at revival houses across the country. Additionally, she held positions as an executive and head of film at her MTV Films and vice president at 20th Century Fox. Dutton has won Women in Film's prestigious Reframe Stamp, which recognizes outstanding gender-balanced projects in film and television, five times since its inception.
