Joe Cole leads the cast of “He Bled Neon.”
The “Peaky Blinders” actor co-directed the videos for Taylor Swift's songs “You Need to Calm Down” and “Lover,” and received his feature film debut from music video director Drew Kirsch. will play a central role. He worked with artists such as Shakira and John Legend.
The synopsis for this action-thriller movie is: “After the mysterious death of his estranged brother, Ethan (Cole) unravels a dark web of crime while on his way to Las Vegas for the funeral, and he finds himself in the city's gruesome… He is forced to confront his past while delving deep into the underworld.” He's risking everything he holds dear to uncover the truth. ”
Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson are writing the screenplay from an original story by producer XYZ Films co-founder Nate Bolotin. The story was inspired by his experiences growing up in Sin City.
The film's music will be composed by Grammy Award nominees Zhu and Joseph Trapanese, and XYZ will handle the worldwide sales of the project ahead of the upcoming Cannes market.
