Bioptimus builds AI-based models that fuse biology (from molecules to cells, tissues, and whole organisms) and generative AI to accelerate scientific progress and innovation in biomedicine.
former scientist Google DeepMind and French artificial intelligence company Owkin have formed a Paris-based company.
Use Owkin's data generation capabilities, access to diverse patient data from academic hospitals around the world, and computer environment. Amazon Web Services.
“Applications of fundamental models and generative AI to biology will have a profound impact on science,” said Bioptimus Co-Founder and CEO, Owkin Chief R&D Officer, and former Google Brain researcher. Director Dr Jean-Philippe Vert said: said in a statement.
“By harnessing the power of foundational models and advanced algorithms trained on massive amounts of biological and multimodal data across multiple scales, we are able to uncover laws of biology that were previously too complex to properly understand. “This holistic understanding of biology across scales is essential to accelerating biomedical and environmental science.”
