(WJET/WFXP) – A national organization recognized local small businesses that received grants as part of their annual awards program.
Ellie Cotton has been announced as one of the recipients of FedEx's 12th Annual Small Business Grant Program.
They will receive a $20,000 grant, as well as a $500 printing credit at a FedEx office, digital and technology consulting from the FedEx Digital Sales Solutions team, an invitation to the Small Business Strategic Insights Forum, and a feature on the FedEx Small Business Center. More than 3,900 businesses across the United States participated in the small business grant program, with one grand prize winner receiving $50,000.
Additionally, nine other small businesses, including Erie Cotton, received grants and services of $20,000 each for a total of more than $230,000.

Over the past 12 years, FedEx has entered approximately 80,000 businesses into the Small Business Grant Program and awarded more than $2 million in awards.
