Some familiar faces are ready to reveal themselves even more.
Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, NFL All-Pro Chris Jones, James Van Der Beek and more are set to star in 'The Real Full Monty', an upcoming TV special featuring striptease performances. .
“The Real Full Monty'' is inspired by the 1997 film “The Full Monty,'' about a group of ordinary men who form a male striptease band.
The two-hour special aims to raise awareness about prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research and will air this fall on FOX.
“Don't die of embarrassment. Get tested! That's the message behind the 'Real Full Monty' special,” Anderson said in a press release. “We are honored to lead a mission that brings together fearless men to bare it all in order to provoke, inspire and, in this case, implore people to get tested for cancer. The goal is… So what are you waiting for?”
Anderson also serves as executive producer of the special.
Fox announced the 2024-2025 programming schedule and described the event as a “group of bold male celebrities” who take off their clothes for cancer research.
Anderson led Diggs, Jones, Van Der Beek, “Teen Wolf” alumnus Tyler Posey and “Dancing with the Stars” judge Bruno Tonioli in the most revealing contest of his career. They train and rehearse for a high performance, culminating in a large-scale striptease.
