The 19 members who will make their debut on the Baton Rouge Legislature in 2024 will be introduced to the council members' wives and guests at a tea ceremony Wednesday at the Baton Rouge Country Club.
The young women will be formally announced at the Congressional Annual Ball on Nov. 29 at the Raging River Center.
The 2024 Baton Rouge General Assembly fanzine debutants are:
- Rebecca Faith Bateman, the daughter of Ashley McCarty Bateman and the late Reed Boteler Bateman, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends the University of Mississippi at Oxford. Her father served as the 2023 Congressional Vice-President and the 2022 Congressional Ball Chairman.
- Caroline Kirkland Boone, the daughter of Dr. Ryan Thomas Boone and Maradis Tuten Boone, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends the University of Georgia in Athens.
- Reece Alexandra Favalolo, daughter of Terry Chagnard Parker and John Andrew Parker of Baton Rouge and Wesley Alan Favalolo II of Mandeville, graduated from St. Joseph Academy and attended the University of Mississippi at Oxford. There is.
- Katherine Claire Gautreault, the daughter of Laura Hammack Gautreau and Christopher Alexander Gautreau, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends LSU.

- Michaela Grace Henry, the daughter of Cary Adele McCowen Henry and Michael David Henry of Covington, graduated from Silliman Institute in Clinton and attends Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Her mother was submitted by Congress in 1986.
- Elizabeth Blake Hester, the daughter of Cory Maddox Hester and Paxton Hester, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends the University of Georgia in Athens. Her father is the current assistant to the Congressional Ball Chairman.
- Annalize Kay Hyde, the daughter of Dr. Jeffrey Dean Hyde and Dr. Glines Poche Hyde, is a graduate of Baton Rouge Episcopal School and attends Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
- Anna Kirk Lawson, the daughter of Ashley Smart Lawson and Cortland Collins Lawson Sr., graduated from University High School and attends LSU. Her mother was presented to Congress in 1986 and her sister Griffon Lawson Schneider was presented in 2015.
- Katherine Eileen Leake, the daughter of Sean Mears Leake and Jeremy Paul Leake, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends LSU. Both of her maternal great-grandfathers were recognized members of Congress, one of whom she also served as Speaker of Congress in 1972. Additionally, her maternal grandmother was a member of her parliamentary coterie in 1965, and her mother became a member of parliament in 1989.
- Madeleine Mae LeBoeuf, daughter of Marie Elizabeth Forman LeBoeuf and Luke Stanford LeBoeuf, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
- Charlotte Ann McQueen, daughter of Angel Keene McQueen and Christian Lee McQueen of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, graduated from Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg and attended the University of Mississippi at Oxford . Her maternal great-grandfather was a certified member of Congress, and her mother was elected to her 1988 Congressional coterie.
- Lucille Kay Autry, daughter of Amy Stuckey Kilchrist and Donald Townsend Autry II, graduated from St. Joseph Academy and attends LSU.
- Carter Claire Parker, the daughter of Michelle Robinson Parker and James Carter Parker, graduated from Baton Rouge Episcopal School and attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
- Claire Castille Perrault, the daughter of Julie Bravetz Perrault and Michael Renée Perrault, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
- Lucy Jane Pettit, daughter of Conway Weems Pettit and Robert Lee Pettit III, graduated from University High School and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
- Caroline Kate Tucker, the daughter of Jaclyn Satawa Tucker and Richard Brian Tucker Jr., is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
- Eva Manuel Ventress, the daughter of Dr. Mark Andrew Ventress and Eva Ann Murano Ventress, is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attends LSU.
- Allie Kate Weinstein, the daughter of Tara Sorsi Weinstein and David Weinstein, is a graduate of Episcopal High School and attends Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
The Baton Rouge Council was founded in 1961 by nine Baton Rouge men who grew up together when Baton Rouge was a small town. After World War II, Baton Rouge grew rapidly, but they found that contact between old family friends was being lost. In an effort to reconnect old families, these founders established the Congress as an organization aimed at providing social contact between the families who had resided in the area before 1910.
Ryan Estes Johnson is the 2024 Assembly Speaker and Rob Field is the Assistant Speaker. Brett Mason is the 2024 Assembly Ball Chair and Paxton Hester is this year's Assistant Assembly Ball Chair.
