Celebrate First Friday with AMOA
First Fridays in May will be held at the Anderson Museum of Art, 32 W. 10th St., Anderson, on Friday, May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. Evenings are filled with shopping and snacks. ARTS — Reasons to shop featuring local artists, crafters, consultants and vendors.There will also be new exhibits, and a gallery talk will be held from 6 p.m.
Unveiling of Anderson Artist Alley
A ribbon cutting will be held at the new location, 19 W. 10th St., on Friday at 5 p.m. The second one will be held at 1118 Meridian St. with the unveiling of his new show at 5:15 p.m.
Highway 38 sale begins Friday
The annual Highway 38 Sale is scheduled for Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tons of sales along the route and on nearby side streets.
The sales route runs from Noblesville to New Castle via Pendleton. Pendleton Avenue will be closed from State Street to Water Street, an area lined with a variety of businesses. We are selling tickets for the June Jamboree.

King of Country takes on Lucas Oil
Country music's real-life cowboy, The King, George Strait will invade Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, May 4th, along with special guests Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. The show begins at 5:45 p.m.

The Divas On Tap Drag Show is back for another round. Doors open at noon at Pax Verum Brewing Co., 908 Main St., Lapel. The show begins at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
