San Bernardino County Fair officials have announced the entertainment lineup for the High Point Concrete Dirt and Sunland Ford Concert Series when the fair returns to Victorville over Memorial Day weekend.
“Full of Fun Trucks” is the theme of the 77th San Bernardino County Fair, scheduled for May 25-27 and May 31-June 2 from 2 to 10 p.m.
High point concrete dirt series
Dirt will be flying and engines will be roaring when the High Point Concrete Dirt Series kicks off the first weekend of the fair with Monster Truck Mayhem on May 25th.
The Demolition Derby will be held on May 26th, and dozens of vehicles will go head-to-head to be the last one standing.
At Bull Riding on May 27, cowboys and cowgirls of all ages will enjoy mutton busting and bull riding to the cheers of fans.
Grandstand tickets for the Dirt Series are $5 per person per event.
Sunland Ford Concert Series
The Sunland Ford Concert Series opens on Saturday, June 1st with multi-platinum singer Matt Stell. His musical style has been described as falling somewhere between country, Americana, blues, soul, folk, gospel, and rock and roll.
“I'm scared to answer the question, 'What kind of music do you play?' every time,” Stell told NWest Iowa. “Every time someone asks me, I say we have about 30 favorite bands and end up recommending a song or YouTube clip.”

The concert series continues on Sunday, June 2nd with a fusion of banda, quebradita and ranchera music by Latin Grammy-nominated banda machos.
Banda Machos was formed in 1990 when 13 young people from Villa Corona, Mexico decided to form a musical group. Since then, the band says they have produced more than 20 albums.
The band's success came from the quebradita wave, a style that was popular on the Los Angeles Latin circuit in the early 1990s.
Many describe the quebradita dance as a couple performing a series of cheerleading-style flips, bold lifts, and synchronized footwork.
The band's third album, Sangre de Indio, included the hit “Al Gato y Al Raton,” which became a radio staple in the 1990s.
In 1993, Banda Machos received the Revelation of the Year Award in the Mexican/Regional category from Univisión Lo Nuestro and won the Juria Musical Award for Best Mexican Band.
The band's song “Zappa Mambo” was featured in the 1995 film “My Family” starring Jimmy Smits, Edward James Olmos, and Esai Morales.
After various band line-up changes over the years, the group currently includes Agustín Mariscal, Alejandro Díaz, Arturo Avila, Brian Magana, Efrain López, Carlos Calatayu, Javier Vidal, Jose Pablo Aguayo, Julio Cesar Guerrero, Leo Bueno, Maurcio Bueno and Rosario Palafox are participating. and Ruben de Landa.

Food, carnival rides, and entertainment
Fair attendees can indulge in meals including cotton candy, hot dogs, fried foods, jumbo turkey legs, burgers, desserts, and a variety of unique creations.
Helm and Sons Amusement will return to the fair with a large selection of games and carnival rides, including fun houses, adrenaline-pumping roller coasters, slides, carousels, children's rides, and a classic Ferris wheel.
Strolling performers and returning acts such as The Slow Zone, Flying Royals Trapeze Act and Tadpole the Clown provide entertainment for young and old. New additions include The Dazzler, Mango and Tango Stilts and their flying umbrella ship.
Inside the fair's community building, vendors will sell homemade products, food, clothing, home furnishings, spa and cooking equipment, and more. There will also be a wide range of exhibits, from crafts and art to food and gardening.
Future Farmers of America will also exhibit livestock and host a junior livestock auction on June 1st.
