Since September, a number of business robberies have occurred, with jet skis, electronics, construction materials and tools stolen.
LARIMAR COUNTY, Colo. — A man is facing nearly 20 burglary and theft charges in connection with a string of robberies in Larimer County dating back to last September.
At the time, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen jet ski in the south Loveland area. Over the next several months, the sheriff's office said it received additional reports of stolen property in the Berthoud and south Loveland areas.
Most of the thefts occurred at businesses and construction sites in the area.
Investigators ultimately identified Craig Clemmons as a suspect and said they found evidence linking him to incidents in the Virtue, Johnstown and south Loveland areas. Deputies and investigators executed a search warrant on his property and discovered several items known to have been stolen.
Clemons faces 23 charges, including robbery, theft, trespassing and criminal mischief.
Investigators found several more items believed to have been stolen. Victims of theft that have not been reported in the past few months are encouraged to fill out the form, especially if the missing items include building materials, appliances, or construction tools. Investigators will contact you if there is a possible match.
When using the form, we recommend providing as much detail as possible, including serial numbers and identifying marks, to help us return the item to its rightful owner. Anyone with information regarding incidents involving this suspect is asked to contact Detective Bryce Hinrichs at 970-498-5542.
