Several festivals will be held around the area over the weekend of April 26th to 28th.
The weekend's event schedule is as follows:

It's the weekend to celebrate the opening of Jack's Beach!
- Friday, April 26th
- Silent Disco 7pm – 10pm
- Saturday, April 27th
- Volleyball tournament 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Insta lamp 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Sandcastle Contest 2:30pm – 5:30pm
- Fishing tournament 2:00pm – 6:00pm
- Sunday, April 28th
- Beaches Parade opens from 2pm to 3pm
Some events cost between $5 and $10.

Cabbage, Potato and Bacon Festival
If you're interested in food-based festivals, check out Hastings' festivals. It runs on Saturdays and Sundays.
The festival includes beloved local traditions such as the Great Hastings Mow Down Lawnmower Race, the scenic Spud Run 5K and 10K, and the Miss Potato Queen beauty pageant.

Frozen in Jacksonville
Mark your calendars and get ready to sing along! Disney's Frozen is coming to Jacksonville Performing Arts Center.
“Frozen” is scheduled for 11 performances in Jacksonville.
Frozen includes an expanded score that includes familiar favorites from the original film, as well as 12 new numbers written specifically for the stage.
