The Louisiana International Festival brings a variety of sounds to downtown Lafayette each year. Plan your unique festival experience starting this Wednesday with our 2024 lineup schedule.
The festival runs from April 24th to 28th, and executive director Scott Feehan said attendees can expect to find plenty of Latin flair among the bands that come to Lafayette from all over the world. He says it can be done.
“We look forward to celebrating Latin heritage and culture at the 38th Festival International,” Feehan said.
This year's visual artist is Lafayette native Dusty Reed. 'Cajun Picasso' has created an official pin and poster to capture the spirit of the festival.
Attendees will be able to purchase official 2024 merchandise at locations throughout the festival, in addition to unique arts, crafts and food offerings highlighting local businesses.
Started in 1987, Festival International is held annually on the last weekend of April. Downtown's iconic festival draws approximately 300,000 to 400,000 people and is estimated to have an annual economic impact of $49 million.
