EUGENE, Ore. — Paranormal Cirque II has returned to Eugene for a four-day stay at the Lane Event Center. Traveling Horror Silk is known for its blend of gruesome horror-themed talent, acrobatics, and adult humor.
The R-rated show premieres Friday at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a pre-show haunted attraction starting one hour before each show.
Steve Copeland is a comedian and host of Paranormal Silk II, and although the show is aimed at adults, he said there is something for everyone.
“It's scary, thrilling and exciting. It's a great place for adults to get outside and forget about life's troubles,” he said. “Have a good time. Shout, clap, and let all your emotions out.”
Horror-themed talent ranges from acrobatic zombies to roller-skating vampires. There's also a serial killer juggler and a creepy acrobat.
“You're going to see a demonic sword swallow Baby, and you're going to see zombies walking on cables high up on the stage…a host of hilarious Ghost Hunters,” Copeland said. Told. “We have some new artists for 2024.”
The show is one of five under parent company Cirque Italia. This is one of his three R-rated shows. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to attend the show. Teenagers can participate with adults 21 and older.
On Friday, Copeland recognized the talented performers he works with every day.
“We are a family, we travel together and we work together,” he said. “There's an old saying in the circus: You don't have to like each other, but you have to get along.”
The show runs until April 22nd. Tickets are available online at his website at Paranormal Cirque.
