Jessica Simpson became more confident after having a child.
The 43-year-old star, who has children Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, six, with Eric Johnson, said he is more confident now than he was in his 20s.
Jessica told PEOPLE: “It wasn’t until I became a mother that I learned to celebrate what a woman’s body can do.
“Now that I have three children, I have more confidence than I did when I was 25.”
The blonde beauty launched the Jessica Simpson Collection in 2005, and over the years she's created her fashion line, drawing inspiration from a variety of places, including her own children.
She said: “I get inspiration for my designs from everywhere, from my favorite songs to artwork. I love vintage fashion, so I'm always looking through archive prints and cuts.
“Right now, I'm really inspired by my daughter Maxwell. Her fashion sense is so unique. She's a contagious trendsetter and always has an effortless confidence.”
Meanwhile, Jessica previously revealed that she overcame her fear by “cutting out” alcohol from her life.
The singer has been sober for years and Jessica admits she doesn't even recognize her old self.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I don't even know that person.
“That person wasn't feeling emotions. Now I'm in a world where I just feel everything, even if it's a sad emotion, and I get through it faster and don't drag it down. So for me, alcohol Eliminating the was like eliminating fear.”
Jessica is happily 'investing' in herself after taking over the reins of her eponymous fashion brand.
She explained: “I don’t fail because I don’t believe there is a way to fail.
“I think it's probably risky for the average person to do what I'm doing and invest in themselves, but I believe in myself a lot and I know my worth and I believe in myself. I believe in myself enough to invest in values and hopefully achieve them.'' And then some for my kids. ”
