Beyoncé's “Blackbird” collaborators all have matching tattoos.
The 42-year-old superstar asked Britney Spencer, Rayna Roberts, Tanner Adele and Tierra Kennedy to record covers of famous Beatles songs for his new country album, Cowboy Carter. This time, Reina revealed that they all had a symbolic mark engraved on them. Blackbird to commemorate the project.
“I'm so grateful that my favorite artist in the world chose me to be a part of her project. It's just incredible. She's literally one of my favorite artists in the world,” Reyna told Billboard. Just a few days ago, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney admitted that he was “very happy” with what Beyoncé had achieved with the song, saying that the song clarified what he was trying to say with the song in the first place. He said he believes that this is being emphasized once again.
He wrote on Instagram, “I'm so happy with @beyonce's version of my song 'Blackbird.' I think she does a great version of this song and what inspired me to write this song in the first place. It has reinforced the civil rights message.
