Lauren Graham is still trying to come to terms with Matthew Perry's death.
The 54-year-old Friends actor died at his Los Angeles home in October from an acute episode of ketamine, and Lauren admitted she still finds his death “hard to believe.”
Speaking in her QA for “Did I mention it already?” During her book tour, she said: “I still can't believe it.
“He wasn't exactly my boyfriend, but he was for most of my life. He was a friend and he was always there for me.
“We had a year stretch and then he came back into my life, and he only came back into my life last year.”
Lauren, 57, also revealed that the last birthday present Matthew gave her before he passed away was a pickleball set.
According to PEOPLE, she said, “He was into tennis and pickleball, and he had a card that said, 'Grow older.' [His death is] It's a terrible loss. ”
Matthew will publish his memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Scary Thing in 2022, and Lauren revealed that Matthew is comforted by the fact that the book has been so well received.
In the book, Matthew spoke candidly about his struggle with addiction, saying: “My consolation when I met him was that he was so thrilled with how his book was received.
