Madonna reunited with her long-lost cousins at the concert.
The 65-year-old Queen of Pop stopped by Tampa, Florida on Thursday (April 24) on her “Celebration Tour” and gave a live shout-out from the stage to relatives she hasn't seen in 25 years, but that's not really the case. There wasn't. She doesn't want to point out exactly what she said to enjoy her night.
She said, “The other thing is, there are two cousins of mine in the audience tonight. I'm not pointing them out. I'm just saying that my mother is their aunt and that I I'm just saying I haven't seen them. It may be the first time in 25 years, but I hope you enjoy seeing them tonight.”
Meanwhile, the “Material Girl” hitmaker has son Lourdes, 27, with ex Carlos Leon, son Rocco, 23, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and son David Banda, 18. She is also the adoptive mother of Marcy James, 17, and 10-year-old. Her one-year-old twins, Stella and Estelle, told the audience that motherhood means more to her than anything else in her life, but thanks to her family she still continues to perform. She thanked her fans for their support over the decades.
She said: “Everything I've ever done in my life is meaningless compared to being a mother. I don't mean to sound corny because it's a full-time job. So, family and being a mother. Thank you for talking to me about that, and love, right? “That's what it's all about. That's why I'm here. The reason I'm still doing this is because I love what I do. And thank you so much for supporting me for 40 years. Thank you. Thank you for 40 years of love and support. I will not take it for granted.”
