Florence Pugh had “no other way to live” than to be “loud, opinionated, and very proud.”
The Dune Part 2 actress credits the “really powerful women” in her family with giving her confidence and always being willing to speak her mind.
She told Britain's HELLO! Magazine: “I've always been influenced by my mother, grandchildren and sisters, who are incredibly opinionated. My father is no different.
“I’m definitely someone who sometimes makes a fuss about things I shouldn’t make a fuss about.
“I have no choice but to be loud, opinionated, very proud, and loud. I don't think I could live any other way.”
The “Oppenheimer” star credits her friends with keeping her grounded.
she said: “I've had friends who were like-minded since I was a teenager.
“It’s nice to be able to take my friends with me on this journey and know that they are helping me.”
Florence recently reflected on the “crippling anxiety” she experienced after becoming famous.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, she explained: “I don't really think of myself as famous or famous. I think that changed for me after Little Women. Then the pandemic hit and I had terrible anxiety. So far I have never felt anxious.
“I actually didn't really know what it was. I thought, 'Maybe it's just nerves?'”
Florence said she realized she was “running every day with low-level anxiety.”
She added, “That's when I recognized the difference in myself. I thought, 'Oh, this is different. I know people know I'm here.'” added.
