Christina Ricci “didn't bond” with her daughter while filming Yellowjackets.
The 44-year-old star's daughter Cleopatra, who she shares with husband Mark Hampton, turns two in December, admitted she was “very upset” last year as she struggled to find balance.
She said on the Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast: “Last year, I was traveling back and forth to Vancouver for the Yellow Jackets.
“She didn't know me. We didn't have any bond. So it was very upsetting.”
Christina, who also has nine-year-old son Freddie with ex-husband James Heerdegen, admits her children don't like to travel, but she tries to take her older children with her whenever possible.
She said, “My children don't like me traveling. When I go out, I try to take my son with me as much as possible.”
But she added: “If you're a series regular, you have to pay for everything, so I can't… I can't pay for four people, four flights every time I go up and down. I don't need to.” All the rooms…
“It costs too much to travel with everyone all the time.”
Despite finding it “difficult” to have the perfect work-life balance, the “Addams Family” actress does her best to “manage” it.
Furthermore, she added: “I try to come back as often as possible. I think what I've learned, especially with my son, is to incorporate him into my work life.”
“Why can't he come to the tournament on the weekend and see what it's like?”
She once asked her son to take her picture at a convention, and admitted how her career influenced her son when he was young.
Her husband Mark helped Cleopatra a lot, but she claimed her ex-husband “didn't help” her. [her] “I had to go back to work when my son was two months old, so that meant he wasn't sleep trained,” she said.
