Shannen Doherty has praised Duchess Kate's “strength” after being diagnosed with cancer.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress, 52, sent support to the 42-year-old royal after revealing in a video message that she is living with stage 4 cancer and is undergoing preventative treatment for the disease.

The actress said in an Instagram post: “Being a public figure does not mean the public owns you.
“We all have the right to personal experiences of illness and life.
“The onslaught of conspiracy theories, ownership, and palpable, morbid curiosity has forced this person to explain it to themselves before accepting it and explaining it to their children.
“I pray that this is an opportunity for all of us to learn to respect privacy and respect others, whether in public or not.”
Shanann added: “And Princess Kate, I admire your strength in overcoming the constant onslaught of cancer.”
In a video announcing her illness, Duchess Kate explained that post-operative tests following abdominal surgery in January revealed that she had cancer, and she is currently undergoing preventive treatment. He said he was starting chemotherapy.
