The Sims is one of the best-selling video game series of all time, having sold more than 200 million copies since the first installment in 2000. In Electronic Arts' sandbox games, users control virtual “Sims” to fulfill their wants and needs. Simulate your own life, including going to work, finding love, and raising a family (or, if you're a more sadistic player, you can even put yourself in a pool or take off a ladder).
The Sims is part of the larger Sims series, which began in 1989 with Will Wright's SimCity. No cast has yet been decided for this film project.
